About Tsukika

Hello—I’m the person behind Tsukika. I’ve wanted to build a business since childhood. I tried many ideas that didn’t work, until one day in 2015 I overheard a conversation in a café: young people were excited about putting their favorite images and memories on clothing. I went home, researched, and discovered print-on-demand (POD) fashion was taking off.

Seeing the momentum in the U.S. market, I used my savings to open a small apparel print studio in Colorado. On June 20, 2016, I launched my shop and named it Tsukika. In the beginning, my goal was simple—serve my local community: friends, family, and neighbors. I printed anything customers brought in—names, memorable photos, and fun, personal slogans—on everyday tees. Each order brought joy, and those moments still mean a lot to me.

For nearly ten years I poured my energy into this work. Over time, I noticed fewer walk-ins. After digging in, I realized consumer habits were shifting toward the digital age.

In early 2025, I fully transitioned to online operations. It was bittersweet, but it opened the door to a future that keeps pace with how people actually shop.

Today, through my online store, I sell fashion pieces I design myself along with styles many young customers love. In the near future, I plan to bring back on-demand custom printing for anyone who wants a truly personal, one-of-a-kind design.
